Loewe identity redesign by M/M Paris

Design studio M/M Paris have rejuvenated the luxury leather goods brand Loewe. This comes ahead of the appointment of JW Anderson who will be designing womenswear, menswear, accessories and lifestyle collections.  Menswear will debut in Paris Men's Week this month. The famous Loewe anagram was originally designed in 1970 (see bottom) by Spanish painter Vicente Vela and has been updated (top) with a refined anagram and logotype. The LVMH owned brand was established in 1846 in Madrid and will relaunch with a campaign shot by Steven Meisel for AW14.
