Copenhagen Fashion Week: Odeur SS13
Sometimes simplicity goes a long way. For Swedish label Odeur, a keen eye for detail and styling goes a very long way. With a colour palette consisting mainly of white and black with a couple looks in grey and burgundy, the label showcased clean modernity. Very Scandinavian in it’s precision, gone were the asymmetrical, Rick Owen aspirations that the label had in previous seasons attempted in Stockholm & Berlin. There were no unnecessary complications as the focus was on supremely tailored drop crotch shorts, blazers for men and luxurious knitwear dresses for women. It seems the young label is well on it’s way to establishing a more mature aesthetic that will appeal to a broader market.
