London Fashion Week: Issa AW13
The serious fashion clout of the Duchess of Cambridge has allowed a number of lesser known UK brands to catapult themselves onto the fashion scene. Issa is certainly one of the success stories as the brand has turned dressing the Duchess into major business. For AW13 designer & founder of Issa, Daniella Helayel took her girl on a slightly whimsical trip where floaty dresses in geometric prints and fedora hats ruled. Standout pieces were the coats, in particular, the embellished graphic printed coat in shades of orange and browns. The success of Issa lies in the ability of the designer to infuse her Brazilian charm with a jet setting bohemian vibe that speaks volumes to the royal set and it’s wannabes. In many ways it was fitting that model of the moment and socialite Cara Delevigne opened the show as she surely represents Issa’s core following. There is no doubt that these pieces will be seen all over society pages in Tatler or Harper’s, perhaps even on the Duchess herself as Issa’s continues her stride for world domination. - FT.  @LondonFashionWk
