London Fashion Week: KTZ AW13
KTZ showed a hint of maturity and restraint for AW13, breathing life into the brands outlandish aesthetic. Perhaps it was the influence of stylist Patti Wilson that seemed to have brought the collection a kind of effortless New York cool in a KTZ way. The brand explored the deity of witchcraft and the power of tarot as sweeping patterns accentuated the textural fabrics such as rubber, and luxurious embroidered leather. The silhouette was oversized and slouchy as parkas and bomber jackets were paired with semi full skirts and towering heels. It should please KTZ’s devoted fan base and excite the not so faint hearted forward thinking fashionistas. - FT.
