Stockholm Fashion Week: House of Dagmar SS13

The three sisters that of House of Dagmar have managed to inject a breath of fresh air into knitwear with their modern and chic point of view, securing Net-A-Porter as a stockist and winner of last years supreme Swedish Fashion Award, Guldknappen. For S/S 13 the sisters stepped out of their comfort zone and the world of knit to present a collection of contradictions. Delicate vs rough, high tech materials vs organic shapes. The result was slightly divided collection that should have really been two separate shows. The organic and soft femininity of the floaty dresses in sunset pink that opened the show were seductive and summery. The structured chrome and cobalt blue look in the second half of the show were inspired and modern. We much prefer the darker side of the House Of Dagmar and are exited to see the sister explore that side for next season.
