So now that you’re here, what do you want to do?
You may have been expecting more but at the end of the day it’s quality not quantity that counts.
Here, wherever we feel the urge, we will produce some unbelievably amazing content on the subject of men’s style. We are, after all, stylish men who enjoy nothing more than congratulating ourselves on how good we look in our latest tailored shirts and long sleeve polo shirts.
Clothes, so the saying goes, make the man. And none more so than handmade suits and shirts. Tailor-made, hand-made, custom-made – all essentially the same thing. The real difference is between bespoke suits and made to measure suits.
Made to measure suits are made to an existing pattern and adjusted to fit the client’s size. These are absolutely adequate for the majority of men and look superb – every bit as good as a bespoke suit but for a fraction of the cost.
A bespoke suit is completely made from scratch for the client. Every panel, seam and stitch designed with the shape, style, posture and gait of the wearer in mind. Bespoke suits take the longest to make, requiring several fittings. Bespoke suits are ideal for men with an asymmetrical shape – a dropped shoulder, uneven hips, a curved spine, a shoulder injury etc. When the body itself is unique, the suit too needs to be unique.
Then of course there are the incredibly lucky people who actually fit an ready-to-wear, off-the-rack suit. These people are genuinely rare, however most people will buy a ready-to-wear suit and settle for it being ‘an okay fit’.
When you get into custom clothing you will start to fully appreciate the difference. But until you venture into this world, you cannot appreciate the difference.
For you, the perfect suit could be a James Bond wedding suit
